Photometria Awards 2026

About the Call Full Details

The Photometria International Photography Festival invites photographers from across the globe to participate in its 18th edition. This year’s theme, ‘Coming of Age (18+),’ explores the transition to adulthood as a multifaceted social and internal condition, moving beyond simple chronological milestones.

Artists are encouraged to submit original works that reflect on the fragility and boldness of this transitional phase. The call is open to both professional and amateur photographers. AI-generated images are strictly prohibited, and participants must hold full copyright for their submitted works.

A selection of 25 photographs will be featured in a group exhibition in Ioannina, Greece, as part of the festival. This exhibition is designed to travel after the main event concludes, providing further exposure for the selected artists.
