About the Call Full Details
A Smith Gallery is seeking photographic submissions for an upcoming juried exhibition centered on the theme “Imagined.” This call encourages artists to explore concepts that are poetic, dreamlike, mythical, or fictional. The opportunity is open to photographers of all levels, including both professional and amateur creators, working in any photographic style or medium. However, the gallery currently excludes work created using Artificial Intelligence due to copyright concerns.
Juror Susan Burnstine will select up to 47 images for a physical exhibition running from June 19 to July 30, 2026. Selected artists will benefit from a dedicated social media feature, inclusion in an online store, and participation in a recorded GalleryTalk session. A selection of the final images will also be featured in “The 27,” a hardbound fine art exhibition book. All selected works will be permanently archived on the gallery website following the show.
Entry Fees
$40 for the first 5 images and $5 for each additional image. Entries of 13+ images include a complementary review.
