The Fundación Ses12naus invites visual artists and curators to apply for its 2026–2027 artistic residency program in Ibiza, Spain. This unique opportunity is designed as a dynamic space for research, creation, and exchange, supporting projects from initial conceptualization to public presentation. The residency is structured with two on-site stays on the island, complemented by a period of remote follow-up and continued work.
Applicants should be visual artists and curators interested in developing projects that establish meaningful relationships with Ibiza’s context, communities, imaginaries, and its rich cultural and natural heritage. The program will select a total of four projects from the Balearic Islands, Spain, and Europe. The first phase in Autumn 2026 focuses on research and exploration, allowing participants to engage with the island’s context and local agents. The second phase in Spring 2027 is dedicated to project development, materialization, and culminates in a public presentation of the work and processes.
