About the Call Full Details
VisArts invites artists working in all media to apply for solo exhibitions in 2027. VisArts’ exhibition program showcases emerging and mid-career artists exploring a wide range of contemporary practices, materials, and approaches.
Selected artists will present their work in one of three distinct exhibition spaces at VisArts: the Gibbs Street Gallery (approximately 1,100 square feet with 16-foot ceilings, at street level with floor-to-ceiling windows), the Common Ground Gallery (approximately 300 square feet, located on Floor 2), or the Concourse Gallery (approximately 500 square feet, located on Floor 2, with curved windows).
VisArts welcomes proposals that are ambitious, experimental, interdisciplinary, and responsive to the unique possibilities of each gallery space. Artists working locally, nationally, and internationally are encouraged to apply.
