Manifest Creative Research Gallery invites visual artists and designers to participate in ‘The Sweep of Time: Beyond the Horizon,’ an exhibition held in conjunction with the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial. This call seeks lens-based works that explore the orientation of time, looking past the immediate turbulence of the present to find clarity within longer arcs of history and memory.
The opportunity is open to international applicants working in traditional and non-traditional photographic media, light-based genres, and mixed-media approaches with a dominant lens-based element. Submitted works should engage with themes such as the horizon as a conceptual threshold, duration, and the persistence of vision. Selected artists will have their work showcased in a physical exhibition and documented in a high-quality hardcover publication by Manifest Press.
Entry Fees
