About the Call Full Details

The Artadia Awards offer professional recognition and support to contemporary visual artists. This program is designed to elevate artistic careers at pivotal moments, providing both career-building resources and long-term community support through a dedicated artist registry and networking opportunities.

Applicants must be contemporary visual artists whose work is intended for presentation within a contemporary art context, such as museums, galleries, or public art spaces. The call is open to artists living and working in specific active partner cities, including Boston, Atlanta, and Houston for the 2026 cycle. Note that the program does not fund filmmakers or choreographers working outside of a contemporary art setting.

The selection process is conducted by a rotating jury of prominent curators. Finalists are chosen for virtual studio visits, during which the final award recipients are determined based on the merit of their practice and artistic excellence.

The Prizes

Primary Award Value Awardees receive unrestricted grants of $15,000, while the Marciano Artadia Award provides $25,000. All finalists not selected for the top awards receive a participation stipend. Recipients also gain inclusion in the Artadia Network for resource sharing and a featured profile in the online Artist Registry.
