Platform Dalí has launched its inaugural Open Call for Residencies as a core component of its Research and Creation Programme. The 2027 edition challenges artists to delve into the profound question, ‘What is Real?’. This unique opportunity invites creatives from diverse disciplines to undertake a rigorous research and creation residency, working collaboratively with one of Platform Dalí’s distinguished scientific partner institutions.
The comprehensive 12-month programme is structured in two distinct stages: an initial phase dedicated to intensive research and inquiry, followed by a period focused on the development and production of a significant new artwork. Five artists will be carefully selected to participate, with each residency hosted by a specific partner institution.
