Mirroring Reality: Realism Today

About the Call Full Details

Artlink Contemporary Gallery invites artists from across the United States to submit works for Mirroring Reality: Realism Today. This national exhibition explores the evolution of representational art, from the precise origins of Photorealism to the vivid exaggerations of Hyperrealism. As digital and AI-generated imagery become more prevalent, this show examines how contemporary artists continue to painstakingly map and reconstruct reality with manual precision.

The call is open to artists practicing in all media who interpret realism in diverse ways. Successful applicants will have their work featured in a group exhibition at the Artlink gallery in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The jury process will be led by Andrew Dubach, a multi-media artist and experienced curator with a background in art history.

Entry Fees

$12 per entry, up to 10 entries.

The Prizes

Primary Award Value Cash or value awards, group exhibition inclusion, and 65% artist commission on all artwork sales.
