About the Call Full Details
Woman Made Gallery is seeking submissions from women and non-binary artists aged 65 and over for an upcoming group exhibition titled ‘In Full View.’ This show investigates the intersection of identity and aging, specifically exploring how visibility and invisibility shape the lives and creative legacies of senior artists. The exhibition celebrates the depth, insight, and ongoing cultural contributions of voices that deserve recognition and space.
The opportunity is open to practitioners across all artistic disciplines. Submissions should contemplate themes of presence, resilience, personal history, and the evolving power of creative expression developed over time. While collaborative projects are welcome, all participating artists must meet the specific eligibility requirements. A short artist statement must accompany each entry to provide context for the work.
All submitted works must be the original creation of the artist. Although AI tools can be utilized for research or inspiration, the gallery will not accept pieces primarily generated by artificial intelligence. Selected works will be featured in a physical gallery exhibition in Chicago scheduled for October 10 through November 7, 2026.
Entry Fees
$20 for 1 to 3 artworks. Reduced fees or waivers are available for artists with demonstrated financial need.
