About the Call Full Details

The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites artists to participate in a juried exhibition exploring the power of non-representational visual language. This call seeks works that utilize color, form, gesture, and scale to translate emotion, memory, and energy into meaningful experiences, echoing the spirit of modern abstract masters.

Eligible submissions include original fine art in any 2D or 3D media created solely by the artist within the past three years. The exhibition is open to artists residing in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico. Selected works will be prominently displayed at Maryland Hall’s Earl Gallery.

Participants may submit a maximum of six entries for consideration. All works must be available for sale, with the organizer facilitating transactions through their gallery network. This opportunity provides a professional platform for artists to showcase their abstract interpretations to a wide audience.

Entry Fees

$45 for 1 or 2 entries ($30 for MFA Members). Up to 4 additional entries at $6.75 each ($4.50 for members).

The Prizes

Primary Award Value Awards designated by the juror totaling $1,000.
