Connect & Create, a component of the Africa–Europe Partnerships for Culture programme, invites applications for its 2027 mentoring scheme. This initiative is designed for early-career professionals in the performing arts and music industries, offering comprehensive support from January through December 2027 to 15 selected participants living and working in sub-Saharan Africa.
The programme targets professionals with 2 to 5 years of experience in artist support roles, including management, production, distribution, administration, and communications. Participants will be paired with experienced mentors from Africa or Europe. The scheme includes quarterly group workshops and a valuable group immersion trip, fostering professional development across various performing arts disciplines such as theatre, dance, performance, puppetry, circus, street arts, and the music sector.
Applicants must be permanent residents of sub-Saharan Africa, at least 18 years old, and affiliated with an organisation that has held legal status for at least one year.
