About the Call Full Details

Catvocates invites artists to submit work for “A Celebration of Cats,” a juried benefit exhibition. This event supports feline welfare initiatives at MSPCA-Angell, including adoption promotions and spay/neuter programs. Your participation helps fund critical cat care.

This opportunity is open to artists creating original work in painting, photography, sculpture, textile arts, prints, illustration, and various other media. Each artist may submit up to four original pieces for consideration.

All submitted artwork must feature cat-themed or cat-inspired subject matter, consistent with the exhibition’s theme. A minimum stated value of $150 per piece is required, with no maximum value. Hanging artwork must arrive in display-ready condition, properly wired or otherwise suitable for installation. Three-dimensional and sculptural works are welcome, contingent on available space and display needs; please note that artists are responsible for providing self-support or pedestals for freestanding sculptures. All work must be the artist’s original creation, and submitted images may be used for exhibition publicity and social media promotion.
