About the Call Full Details
The City of Lake Oswego and the Arts Council of Lake Oswego (ACLO) invite artists to submit proposals for the next season of the nationally recognized Gallery Without Walls rotating outdoor public art collection. This esteemed program aims to integrate art into the daily lives of residents and visitors by showcasing compelling artworks throughout downtown Lake Oswego for a two-year exhibition.
Artists are encouraged to submit proposals for completed works or ideas for new creations, suitable for installation in August 2027. We welcome submissions of various media, particularly sculpture and 3D artworks, that can withstand the Pacific Northwest climate. Innovation is highly encouraged, and works created within the last three years are preferred. Up to 15 artists will be selected to display one artwork each, contributing to this vibrant outdoor exhibition from summer 2027 to summer 2029.
During the exhibition period, artworks will be available for sale, with a 30% gallery fee retained by ACLO upon successful acquisition. Purchased artworks must remain on display for the full contracted exhibition duration.
