About the Call Full Details
The Institut français, in partnership with the Cité internationale des arts, invites artists and cultural professionals from around the globe to apply for prestigious residencies. This program offers selected applicants the opportunity to develop a research and creative project across all artistic disciplines.
Residencies will take place between April 2027 and April 2028, with durations of three, six, or nine months. This scheme is open to artists and cultural professionals living abroad, without age limit, and from any country. Applicants must be nominated by one or more cultural partners, such as a French cultural network abroad or French or foreign cultural organizations, who will support their application submission.
The Prizes
Selected residents receive a monthly stipend of at least 1,100 EUR, accommodation and a studio at the Cité internationale des arts, international travel expenses, artist's insurance (health, repatriation, liability), and coverage for visa fees if required.
