Everyday Sublime: 11th Annual Juried Show

About the Call Full Details

Gallery A3 announces an open call for its 11th Annual Juried Show, themed “Everyday Sublime.” This exhibition invites local and regional artists to explore the traditional concept of the sublime—awe, wonder, and nature’s immensity—within the context of our modern, often tamed or overwhelming world.

The call is open to both well-known area artists and those exhibiting for the first time in western Massachusetts. The show will be juried by Andrew S. Yang, whose work focuses on ecological entanglements and has been featured in major international biennials and museums.

Applicants may submit 2-D works up to 26 inches wide and 72 inches tall, or 3-D works weighing no more than 18 lbs and measuring within 26 inches in any direction. Selected works will be displayed at the cooperative contemporary gallery in downtown Amherst.

Entry Fees

$38 for three entries, $7 for one additional entry, maximum four entries per artist.

The Prizes

Primary Award Value Selection for a group exhibition at Gallery A3 in downtown Amherst from August 6–29, 2026.
