Diriyah Art Futures (DAF) invites applications for the third cycle of its Emerging New Media Artists Programme, a comprehensive one-year initiative dedicated to creative production and professional training. Developed in partnership with Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains, the residency is designed for early-career practitioners looking to bridge the gap between art, science, and technology.
The program is open to artists globally who are 35 years of age or younger and have completed graduate or postgraduate studies. Candidates should possess a demonstrated background in New Media and Digital Art. While the call is international, there is a specialized focus on supporting talent from the Middle East and North Africa region.
Selected participants will undergo three months of intensive conceptual exploration through seminars and workshops led by prominent theorists. This is followed by a production phase where artists work under expert mentorship to develop original works. Residents gain access to world-class facilities including immersive reality labs, coding suites, and spatial audio-visual environments, culminating in a curated exhibition at the DAF center.
