About the Call Full Details
In celebration of the Central Valley Community Foundation’s 60th Anniversary, the Madera County Arts Council is hosting a year-long tribute to honor the region. This open call invites creative proposals that reflect the local culture and spirit of the area.
The commission is open to artists who can produce work reflecting the community’s values and history. Selected participants will be expected to create installations or artworks that align with the commemorative theme of the anniversary celebration.
Applicants must submit detailed proposals outlining their vision for the project. Requirements include a portfolio of past work and a specific plan for the execution of the commissioned piece within the provided timeline.
The Prizes
Approximately eight (8) proposals will be awarded $1,500 plus materials.
